This project involved designing and building a promotional website for a pair of wireless earbuds from the ground up. I developed the complete brand identity, including logo design and visual direction, then brought the product to life through 3D modelling, animation, and interactive web experiences.
The goal was to create an immersive, product-focused digital experience that blended branding, motion, and emerging technology to showcase the earbuds in a dynamic and engaging way.
1. Research & Discovery
I began by researching existing audio and consumer tech brands to understand common visual language, product storytelling patterns, and user expectations for promotional product pages. This included reviewing competitor websites, motion-heavy product launches, and interactive experiences to identify what felt effective—and where there was room to push creativity through 3D and motion.
2. Visual References & Mood Development
I gathered reference imagery and motion inspiration to define the overall look and feel of the product. This phase focused on materials, lighting styles, colour palettes, and interaction cues commonly used in premium tech branding. These references helped guide decisions across branding, 3D rendering, and animation to ensure a cohesive visual direction.
3. Sketches & Concept Exploration
Early concepts were explored through sketches and rough layouts to map out the structure of the promotional page and key moments of interaction. This allowed me to experiment with hierarchy, pacing, and storytelling before moving into high-fidelity design and development.
4. Branding & Identity Design
With a clear direction established, I designed the product logo and branding system, defining typography, colour usage, and graphic elements. This system acted as a foundation for all subsequent work, ensuring consistency across 3D visuals, motion assets, and the website.
5. 3D Modelling & Motion Design
I modelled the earbuds in 3D, refining form, materials, and lighting to achieve a realistic and polished look. Motion was used strategically to highlight product features, guide attention, and add depth to the storytelling both in the promotional video and interactive elements.
6. Interactive & Web Development
The final phase involved coding the website from scratch and integrating interactive 3D elements, including an AR spinning model and an X-ray visualization to reveal internal components. Care was taken to balance visual impact with performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Showcases versatility across industries (tech vs. wellness)
• Demonstrates understanding of product packaging and retail presentation
• Strengthened conceptual branding skills
The final outcome was a visually striking, interactive product page that demonstrated how branding, 3D, motion, and web development can work together to tell a cohesive product story. By combining immersive visuals with thoughtful interaction design, the project resulted in a compelling digital experience that highlighted both product features and brand identity while maintaining performance and usability across the site.
