Ceci Beauty is a contemporary makeup brand concept designed to embody elegance, confidence, and modern femininity. The project focused on creating a cohesive visual identity that could translate seamlessly across digital and print platforms. From logo design to motion assets, every element was crafted to reflect a polished, editorial-inspired aesthetic.
Research & Creative Direction
I began by researching contemporary beauty brands, editorial layouts, and luxury packaging to define Ceci Beauty’s visual space. The creative direction centred on softness, refinement, and understated elegance, with a focus on balancing minimalism and femininity.
Moodboarding & Visual Exploration
Moodboards were developed to establish tone, colour, typography, and overall art direction. I explored a mix of soft neutrals, delicate contrasts, and high-fashion references to guide the visual language and ensure consistency across all deliverables.
Logo Design & Identity Development
Initial logo concepts were sketched and iterated digitally, focusing on clean typography and subtle personality. The final mark was designed to feel timeless and versatile, working across both digital and print applications while maintaining a strong brand presence.
Motion Direction & Storyboarding
With the identity established, I translated the brand into motion by mapping out key sequences and transitions. Storyboarding helped define pacing, movement style, and how the logo and typography would animate to reflect the brand’s elegance and fluidity.
Motion Design & Animation
Using After Effects, I developed the logo animation and motion video, focusing on smooth transitions, intentional timing, and cohesive visual rhythm. Each movement was designed to enhance the brand’s tone while maintaining a polished, editorial feel.
Campaign Assets & Final Output
The final stage involved extending the identity into supporting materials, including posters and campaign visuals. All assets were refined to ensure consistency, resulting in a cohesive brand system that translates seamlessly across both static and motion formats.
The final result is a cohesive and versatile brand system that effectively communicates Ceci Beauty’s identity across multiple touchpoints. The combination of static and motion elements strengthens brand recognition and creates a more immersive experience.
